Rosenhaus: I Tell My Clients 'Go And Ball Out And I'll Take Care of The Rest'

Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor is expected to miss his second consecutive game in holding out for a new contract. How does this affect things with teammate Michael Bennett, a Drew Rosenhaus client, who is also seeking a new deal?

"We decided to take a different approach," Rosenhaus said on the Joe Rose Show. "Rather than holding out, Michael was at Training Camp, he hasn't missed a practice, he's been in all the preseason, he's playing hard. That's the approach I recommend to my clients. When you're looking for a new deal, rather than holding out, just go and ball out and I'll take care of the rest.

"Bennett is on the same team and we just decided to go a different route. Are we rooting for Kam Chancellor to get a new deal? Absolutely. Would that help other players on the team that are seeking new contracts? Sure because if you're going to do it for one player -- especially a guy that's holding out -- you're gonna have to do it for other guys in similar situations."
