Report: JJ Barea 'Leaning Toward' Signing With Miami Heat
On the same day Miami inked their starting point guard of the present and future in the form of Goran Dragic ($90 million), it appears depth could also be imminent.
JJ Barea is reportedly leaning toward signing with the Miami Heat, according to NBA.com's David Aldridge.
Am told that Mavericks free agent guard J.J. Barea is leaning toward taking a deal with the Heat.

As for how the over-the-cap Heat can sign the 31-year-old free agent, it would likely be an exception ($3.4 million) or for the veteran's minimum.
Barea averaged 7.5 points and 3.4 assists last season with the Mavs, shooting 42 percent from the field and 32 percent from three.
