Report: Ichiro Suzuki to the Miami Marlins

The Miami Marlins' wild offseason of spending and dealing isn't over yet. The club agreed to terms with free agent outfielder Ichiro Suzuki today, according to multiple reports.

The 41-year-old will join Miami as their fourth outfielder on a one-year deal expected to be in the range of $2 million. Ichiro spent the last three years with the New York Yankees and while he hasn't been the same dynamic force he once was, he still ranked in the top five in fielding percentage among right fielders in each of the last three seasons.

He'll bring 14 years of experience and depth to a young and talented outfield featuring Giancarlo Stanton in right, Marcell Ozuna in center and Christian Yelich in left.

Suzuki has 2,844 career hits, which is tied for 46th all-time with Ivan Rodriguez.
