Report: Dolphins Set To Interview Packers QB Coach

DAVIE (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins are set to interview Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo for the team's vacant offensive coordinator position, according to Armando Salguero of CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald.

The interview with McAdoo is scheduled for Tuesday, according to the Herald. McAdoo's interview will be the first for the Dolphins' offensive coordinator position in several days. The team has focused more on general manager interviews than offensive coordinator interviews since last weekend.

Two candidates have been interviewed, former Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan and Eagles quarterbacks coach Bill Lazo. The Dolphins are also reportedly interested in former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak.

Any of the candidates, if they can replicate what their respective teams did last year, would be an upgrade. The Eagles, Packers, Redskins, and Texans all had offenses in the top one-third of the league in 2013, according to the Herald.
