Report: Dolphins Interview Eagles QB Coach Bill Lazor

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins held the first known interview for the vacant offensive coordinator job Wednesday. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach Bill Lazor was in Miami Wednesday to interview for the job.

Lazor spent the last year in Philadelphia and was the offensive coordinator for the University of Virginia for three years before that. He's also coached in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins, and Atlanta Falcons.

The Dolphins have not publicly acknowledged Lazor's interview, but have said the franchise will begin searching for a new general manager on Friday. The prior general manager, Jeff Ireland, mutually parted ways with the team on Tuesday.

The Dolphins search for a new general manager may get complicated after the team's dirty laundry of a massive power struggle has come to light.
