MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Heat All-Star forward Chris Bosh might feel like he's starring in his own version of Groundhog Day.

Bosh, who missed the final 30 games of last season after it was discovered that a blood clot in his calf had moved to his lungs, could be out for the remainder of this season as well.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports is reporting that Bosh is facing pressure from both his physicians and the Heat organization to miss the rest of this season due to the potential dangers of a recurring medical condition.

The report states that Bosh will meet with Heat owner Mickey Arison, president Pat Riley and other team officials sometime in the next 24 hours to discuss his status for the remainder of the season.

Bosh hasn't played for the Heat since February 9th against San Antonio, the final game before the NBA's All-Star break.

Despite having planned to participate in several events during the All-Star weekend, Bosh decided not to play due to concerns about a possible clotting issue in his calf.

Per the report, Bosh has been hoping to find a way to return to the Heat with the use of blood thinners.  Those attempts have been met with significant resistance.
