Repair Man Accused Of Beating Customer During Service Call

WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) — An air conditioning repair man was arrested after he reportedly beat a woman whose home he went to on a service call.

When Dario Dotto, 34, arrived at the woman's house in West Boynton Beach on he reportedly restrained the young children in the home and struck the woman multiple times with a blunt object.

She was taken to the Delray Medical Center where she received treatment for severe lacerations to the face and head.

Dotto was arrested Saturday. He faces charges of attempted murder, kidnapping and child abuse. Sheriff's department officials say they do not know the motive behind the assault.
