Recycling Truck Worker Killed After Being Struck By Car
SOUTHWEST RANCHES (CBSMiami) – Davie police are investigating the death of a pedestrian in Southwest Ranches.
The crash took place in the area of 5051 SW 160th Avenue just after 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
According to a police official, a recycling truck worker got out of the vehicle to help the truck back up and handle traffic.
That is when the worker was struck by a vehicle.
Police said the driver of the car remained at the scene.
No other details were available.
