ROCHESTER (CBSMiami/AP) – A rape suspect from western Pennsylvania who was stabbed by another woman after police say he broke into her home to hide has been arrested in Broward County. Rape suspect, stabbed hiding in home, caught in Florida

Police in Rochester say Richard Jackson II, 35, was apprehended Monday night in Broward. . He's jailed in Broward pending extradition back to Beaver County.

Police say Jackson raped a woman four times in Rochester on June 30, then ran from police, and broke into at least two different homes to hide. Police say a woman who found him crouching in the bathroom of her home stabbed Jackson, causing him to run away.

Online court records don't list an attorney for Jackson, who is charged with rape, burglary, criminal trespass and other charges.
