Surveillance video captures Pompano Beach quadruple shooting

FORT LAUDERDALE -Two were killed and two others were injured in a shooting Sunday night in Pompano Beach.

Shortly after 9 p.m., Broward sheriff's deputies were sent to the 400 block of NW 27th Avenue to check on reports of gunfire.

When they arrived, they found the four people who had been shot, two of them dead. Dozens of bullet casings littered the ground.

Surveillance video shows the moments bullets went flying outside of a convenience store. In the video, one man is seen running for cover, he then comes back with what appears to be a gun. Another person can be seen limping away as the shots rang out.

A third person, who appears lifeless, is entangled in a bicycle in front of the store.

"I saw the video. It's really horrible," said store manager MD Rahman. "It's really horrible because the employees are scared about this."

Sheriff's homicide detectives are trying to determine what led to the shooting.

Video taken from a surveillance camera posted at a neighborhood store captured the chaotic moments during the gunfire.

It shows a body tangled in a bicycle and smoke coming from inside the store and someone running outside before he trips and falls and then runs away.

The man, wearing blue sweatpants, then returns and goes inside while someone else then walks out of the business.
