FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- A puppy saved from a burning home barely made it but was able to pull through.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue shared pictures of the adorable pup breathing from an oxygen mask.

Crews arrived at the home located at 1523 NW 14th Street on Saturday. It was engulfed in heavy smoke but the responders were able to find the puppy in a back room, according to our news partners at the Miami Herald.

They took him outside and revived him with a pet oxygen mask.

Luckily, no one else was inside of the home at the time of the fire. The owner and the puppy were later reunited outside.
