Preview: Miami Heat Look To Bounce Back Against Orlando Magic

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The Miami Heat face off against their Florida rivals the Orlando Magic at home on Tuesday night.

The Heat are coming off a disappointing 98-86 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans in their preseason opener.

Chris Bosh, who is supposed to have an expanded offensive role this season with the departure of LeBron James, shot an abysmal 3 for 13 from the floor. Bosh shoots close to 70 percent from the field against the Magic, so Heat fans hope this is the game to put him back on track.

Heat rookie James Ennis led Miami with 17 points against the Pelicans and will look to continue his impressive start.

The Magic will be without two projected starters in their season opener — second-year guard Victor Oladipo and free agent pickup Channing Frye.

Rookies Aaron Gordon and Elfrid Payton might be called upon by the Magic come game time.

Gordon was the fourth overall pick in last year's NBA draft, so the team has lofty expectations for the 19-year-old forward.

The Heat own a 55-44 record against the Magic in the regular season and have won the last nine meetings.

Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at the American Airlines Arena.
