President Obama To Stop Into Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami is getting a presidential visitor on Friday.

President Barack Obama is set to travel to Miami for the day.

The president is scheduled to arrive in the afternoon.

During his South Florida stop, he will participate in a round table discussion for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee(DSCC) at a private home. 

In the evening, President Obama will deliver remarks at a Democratic National Committee event. That will also be held at another private home.

From there, he is set to head to Palm City where he'll spend the night. It is unclear what he will do in Palm City.
