President & First Lady Scheduled To Visit Coral Reef High School

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Students at Coral Reef High School in Miami are in for quite the day Friday as President Obama, along with the First Lady, are expected to pay the magnet high school a visit.

President Obama and Mrs. Obama's visit to South Florida will include a stop at Coral Reef to deliver remarks on the importance of a quality education and its vital role on the economic success of our country.

Ahead of the President and First Lady's visit, students of the high school, who at first weren't told exactly who was visiting, have already been advised to arrive early and have been asked not to bring backpacks or large purses or bags.

Friday's South Florida visit will be the second in the week for Michelle Obama who was in Miami Wednesday at a Miami health center to show the multiple ways health care consumers can sign up through the federal exchange.
