ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) — Police are looking for answers following a horrible shooting just weeks before Christmas.

Authorities say a pregnant woman died and her brother was critically injured while coming to her aid following a shooting at their home near Orlando.

Orange County Sheriff's spokeswoman Jane Watrel tells local news outlets that 24-year-old Sade Dixon was shot when she answered the door Tuesday night.

Her 26-year-old brother Ronald Steward was shot when he came to the door. He was in critical condition early Monday at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Watrel says the woman's parents and another brother were inside the home along with two young children. They were not harmed.

According to Watrel, Dixon was three months pregnant.

Investigators are looking for a suspect.

No additional details were immediately available.
