Postal Inspectors Offer Reward For Armed Robber

MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  U.S. Postal Inspectors are asking for the public's help to identify a man who robbed a postal worker in Coral Springs and are offering a reward.

Officials with the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) said the armed robber took a postal key from the letter carrier on March 13th just before 5:00 p.m. near 3644 NW 116th Terrace.

Officials said they are searching for a black man, about 5'09", between 145 to 150 pounds. He is described as being in his late teens to his early twenties.  He was wearing a black knit hat, a white t-shirt, and jeans at the time of the robbery.

USPIS is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the bandit.
