Portis: Would Love to See Next Canes Coach Have a 'University of Miami Pedigree'
"There's some great candidates out there," Canes legend Clinton Portis said of the Hurricanes coaching gig on Hochman, Crowder and Krantz. "I would love to see someone that has the University of Miami pedigree in them though.
"Someone who is familiar with the program who knows how to win with the program, who knows what to expect with the program because you can't bring in a coach from somewhere else and expect them to understand the University of Miami pedigree.
