MIAMI (CBSMiami) --Wawa is making its way to South Florida.

The company, often considered among the most popular convenience stores and gas stations is known for their fresh and made-to-order foods.

According to the South Florida Business Journal, the company plans to open two new locations in Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach, both on Sample Road.

The location in Deerfield Beach has been approved by the Planning and Zoning Board. The 6,119-square-foot Wawa would have eight fuel pumps and have a Wendy's next to it.

The city council has yet to vote on the projects at 2201 to 2301 W. Sample Road.

It doesn't stop there.

The company said they would open dozens of stores in South Florida. They have also proposed a Wawa in Fort Lauderdale on Powerline Road.
