Say Bye Bye To Post-Tropical Cyclone Emily

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - After drenching the central and southern parts of the state on Monday, we can bid bye bye to Post-Tropical Cyclone Emily.

At 11 p.m., the center of the system was about 235 miles northeast of Cape Canaveral.

Emily had maximum sustained winds of 35 mph, with some higher gusts.

The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the north-northeast near 9 mph, and a faster motion toward the northeast is forecast for the next couple of days.

There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
