MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Three men have been arrested and police are looking for a fourth following an undercover sting operation involving a conspiracy to steal a truck loaded with valuable merchandise.

Yoel Brito, 42, Luis Miguel Cordova, 39, and Dainel Ramirez-Castillo, 29, who also uses the name "Daniel," police said, were arrested on Friday, November 4th.

Detectives said during the course of an ongoing investigation, they got word about the men's plans to steal a box-truck loaded with cellular phones valued at $800,000. They were placed under surveillance for more than two weeks and allegedly seen following the targeted truck.

On the day of the arrest, an undercover officer posed as the delivery man and drove the truck to a business located at 6640 N.W. 22nd Avenue. When he entered the business, police said the suspects executed their plan using a copied key to attempt to steal the unattended truck.

They were quickly apprehended at the scene and charged with Stalking, Attempted Grand Theft of a Vehicle, and Conspiracy to Commit Grand Theft Cargo, among other charges.

The Miami-Dade Police Department are also seeking information on a 2007 Honda Odyssey with a Miami Heat tag: L3AJP that allegedly fled the scene.

Anyone with information regarding the three subjects involved in this incident, please contact Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
