Police Set Up Perimeter After Coral Gables Shooting

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) – The Miami-Dade Police Department has set up a perimeter after a shooting in Coral Gables Saturday afternoon.

At around 1:00 p.m., the Coral Gables Police Department received a 911 call about a shooting at the 1000 block of Salzedo Street.

When officers arrived they said they found a man in his mid-20s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Police said they saw two men running westbound towards LeJuene Road. Authorities set up a perimeter from SW 8th St. to SW 13th St. to search for the suspects.

The victim was taken to Ryder Trauma Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
