Police Searching For Missing Miami Gardens Child
MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) — Miami Gardens Police are searching for a 10-year-old last seen Friday.
Giovanni Damon Carter was last seen about 6:15 Friday evening riding his bike near his school, Carol City Elementary. His mother, Mary Carter says her son has been depressed since his grandmother died about a year ago and she's concerned for his safety.
"Please help me find him. I've been looking for him, the police has been looking for him so If you've seen him or thought you've seen him please call the police," pleaded Carter.
Carter said her son has disappeared before and turned up at a friend's home. If he's in the area, she wants him to know she isn't angry about his disappearance and just wants him to come home.
Giovanni was last seen wearing gray shorts and gray shoes trimmed in green. He is about 65-70 pounds and five feet tall.
