Police Search For Man Accused Of Robbing A Postal Worker

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami-Dade Police are on the search for a man accused of robbing a postal worker earlier this month.

Police released a sketch of the person they are looking for.

According to police, the victim, Scharmaine Taylor,was delivering mail on January 9 at approximately 1:30 p.m.

When she entered her postal vehicle, at 3120 S.W. 65th Avenue, a man approached her to ask a question. The man allegedly lunged at her causing a brief struggle to ensue.

The man was able to take the victim's gold necklace and fled in a dark-colored vehicle.

The victim was not injured in the struggle.
