CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) – Coral Springs police have released surveillance video of a jewelry store owner shooting his employee.

The day after Black Friday, the Coral Square Mall was filled with holiday shoppers around 10 a.m. Saturday when shots were fired inside the Fast-Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs shop.

Police say the owner, identified as Gus Kiriazis, shot his employee, Sabas Anthony Ferrer.

In the first video, Kiriazis and Ferrer are seen walking through the store before entering a back room.

Kiriazis is then seen on a second video passing through another door while Ferrer waits outside.

Seconds later, Kiriazis reenters the room and starts shooting at Ferrer, who hunches over and starts falling backwards.

Sabas was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but he has since improved and was later listed in stable condition.

Police said Kiriazis turned the gun on himself and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are still investigating the motive for the shooting.
