Police Release Surveillance Of Car Burglar They Need Help Catching

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami-Dade Police Department has released surveillance video of a car burglar they need help catching.

It all happened a little after 9 p.m. on January 14th.

Investigators said a man was captured on camera breaking into a car in the area of NE 171st St. and NE 7th Ave.

The thief took a firearm and cell phone from the vehicle.

Police said the burglar is between 16 to 21 years old, about 5-foot 11-inches tall, approximately 170 pounds and has medium length wavy black hair.
