MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Miami-Dade Police are searching for a group they say carjacked a tourist and have released a sketch of one of them.
Police said it all happened in the early morning hours of August 12th as the 19-year old Elvyn Sosa loaded his family's suitcases into their car.
The armed carjacker went into the driver's side of the car as Sosa sat on the passenger side, entering GPS directions, officers said.
That's when the man pulled out a gun and demanded Sosa not to move. Sosa, in fear for his life, ran out as another carjacker was approaching his door.
The two bandits sped off in Sosa's vehicle, followed by a silver Toyota Tundra.
Authorities released a sketch of the man they are looking for. He is described as being 40 to 50 years old, about 5'4" tall with a medium complexion and a husky build. The victim said the man had a Cuban accent and was wearing a light blue button up shirt with jeans.
As for the other two people they are looking for, one of them is a described as a man with a medium to dark complexion with an oval face. The third person does not have a description.
Officers said the stolen vehicle is a 2015 Silver Chevy Tahoe with Texas tag number "FPN-1597."
