Police: Man attending Rolling Loud festival in Miami dies after being taken to hospital
MIAMI GARDENS — Police are investigating what led to a young man dying while attending Rolling Loud over the weekend, authorities said.
Miami-Dade Police Department told CBS News Miami that a 23-year-old male concertgoer — later identified as Jordan Petrocchi — was taken to the hospital on Saturday from Hard Rock Stadium, where the music festival was held, and later died at the hospital on Sunday.
MDPD said the cause of death is pending and awaiting a toxicology report.
On Tuesday, Rolling Loud released the following statement:
"We will continue to provide our full support to the authorities as they investigate. Our condolences are with the young man's family and friends."
