Police Looking For Gunman In Delray Gas Station Shooting

DELRAY BEACH (CBSMiami) - A Delray Beach man is sought in a deadly shooting at a gas station Thursday night.

Around 10 p.m., Delinord Dumercy walked into the Chevron gas station food mart at 1909 W. Atlantic Avenue, pulled a gun from his backpack and turned to leave.

As he was walking out, police say he shot James Peoples who was walking into the store. Witnesses told police Peoples was shot at point blank range. He was rushed to Delray Medical Center where he died.

Delray Beach police said they think the shooting stemmed from domestic related issues.
