Police Looking For Armed Carjacker

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Police are investigating an armed robbery and carjacking that happened in the back parking lot of a restaurant.
On January 1st, a 46-year-old man was in a parking lot located at 8080 SW 67th Avenue, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.
Around 6:43 p.m., the victim was ambushed by the subject, pistol whipped and the subject fled from the scene in the victim's vehicle, a white 2002, four-door Honda Civic.
The victim suffered minor lacerations and bruises to the face, according to police.
Surveillance video captured the image of the subject. Investigators are seeking assistance from the community in identifying and/or locating the individual.
According to police, the subject is anywhere from 20 to 30 years of age, about 5'9" or 5'10".
