Police Search For Two Armed Robbers In Plantation

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) – Detectives are investigating two robberies in Plantation where employees were tied up by two masked, armed men.

According to Plantation Police Department, two masked men walked in to Little Caesars Pizza, at 5201 W Broward Blvd, around 9:35 PM demanding cash and everything employees had on them.

"They locked the door when they went, took control of the two employees that were in there, ordered them to empty the cash register and empty their pockets," said Detective Phil Toman with PPD.

Once they got all the money out of the cash register they tied them up with duct tape and exited the store, police said.

The robbers, after Little Caesars, went to a Publix not far away from the restaurant to use the ATM, according to police.

After Publix, police said the thieves then headed south to a Subway on Peters Road where they went inside with guns in hand and also tied up the workers.

Police said the ordered the two store employees to empty their pockets and ordered the money out of the cash register. Once they got everything they needed they tied up the two employees with tape.
