Police Investigating Shooting At Hollywood 7-Eleven

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – Police are investigating a shooting in Hollywood that sent one person to the hospital Friday night.

It happened at a 7-Eleven on Sheridan Street near North 64th Avenue.

Officers said they responded to calls of a shooting at around 7:30 p.m. When they arrived, they found a person shot at the scene.

Emergency workers took the victim to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators have detained one person for questioning, but have not made any arrests.
