Police Investigating Early Morning Shooting
MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Investigators were on the scene of a shooting that took place early Saturday morning.
It happened in Lauderhill just after 5 a.m. near N.W. 51st Avenue.
It is unclear how many people were involved or wounded.
At least one person was taken via helicopter to a Broward County hospital.
The condition of the victim that was transported is unclear, but the rescue was labeled a trauma alert.
Lauderhill Police spokesperson, Gregory Solowsky said, "We are in the beginning stages of the investigation and hope to have more information to release later today."
