Police Investigate Overtown Shootings

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - City of Miami police are investigating two different shootings Friday night in the Overtown area.

Police have not said if the shootings are related.

In the shooting near NW 5 Avenue and 8 Street, one victim was struck and transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma in stable condition.

In the second shooting, in the 1100 block of NW 2nd Avenue, two persons were shot. Their condition is unknown.

No additional information was released by police
