Police Identify Worker Killed In Dade Fair Accident

MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Miami-Dade police have released the name of the man who died while working on a ride at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition.
The accident happened last Wednesday, April 6th.
Clinton Van-Kraayenburg, 23, worked for Showtime Rides Inc. which was contracted to perform inspections and maintenance on the Fair's rides.
The South African native was doing routine maintenance on a ride called "Hurricane" about 15 minutes before the Fair opened when something went wrong.
Miami-Dade Police described the death as "accidental."
This was the first death at the Fair in its 65 years of operation.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration continues to investigate.
