Plantation PD Needs Help Catching Armed Robber Seen On Surveillance

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) – The Plantation Police Department is asking for the community's help in catching an armed robber who terrorized two people.

The incident, captured on surveillance cameras, happened on September 3rd at around 8:10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Hamlet Apartments located at 4561 NW 10th Court.

The suspect drove up in a brown Mercury Grand Marquis and parked next to his first victim, who was sitting in his white sedan.

The thief got out his car and pointed a gun at the man.

While the robber demanded the victim turn over his belongings, a woman walked over from a nearby apartment.

The armed suspect turned the gun on the woman, demanding her purse and wallet.

Police said the suspect fired his gun into the air once before making away with the two victims' belongings.

No one was injured during this crime.

The suspect at large is considered armed and dangerous.
