Plane Makes Emergency Landing In South Florida Field

MIRAMAR (CBSMiami) -- A plane made an emergency landing in a South Florida field Thursday afternoon.

The plane landed near Red Road and Florida's Turnpike.

Chopper4 was over the scene where police were seen gathering around the small plane which did not appear to have any significant damage.

It is unclear what caused the emergency landing.
