Pines Man Shoots At Attackers During Robbery

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) - A Pembroke Pines man tried to turn the tables on two people who tried to rob him early Friday morning.
The man told police he had just gotten out of his vehicle at 400 Palm Circle Way when he was approached by two males who demanded that he hand over his cash and other valuables.
The man said he pulled out his gun and fired two shots, one of which he believes hit one of the people robbing him.
There was struggle and, according to police, the man's gun was taken from him along with some other property. His attackers then fled on foot.
Pembroke Pines police say the pair is now considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
