Pilot Of Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing In The Everglades

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The pilot of a small plane made an emergency landing in the Everglades Tuesday morning.

The FAA said the single-engine Piper PA-32 made a forced landing south of Alligator Alley, near mile marker 55, just before 10 a.m.

Two people were aboard, no injuries have been reported. The FAA did not release the name of the pilot or passenger.

The plane is registered to Ernesto Raschio of Miami-Dade, according to the FAA website.
