'Piano Man' Coming Back To Ring In New Year In South Florida

SUNRISE (CBSMiami) -- The 'Piano Man' is coming back to South Florida to ring in the new year with a concert at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will perform his second New Year's Eve concert in South Florida for the second year in a row.
"He rang in 2016 for South Florida and will help us close it with amazing performances of his timeless songs," said Executive Chairman of Sunrise Sports & Entertainment Peter Luukko.
With more than 150 million records sold over his five-decade career, Billy Joel ranks as one of the most popular entertainers in history. The singer/songwriter/composer is the third best-selling solo artist in the U.S. and one of the highest-grossing touring artists ever.
Joel also rang in the new year in 2014 with a concert in Orlando.
