Person Killed By Metromover In Downtown Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) --  One person is dead after being struck and killed by the Metromover Wednesday morning.

According to Miami Fire Dispatch,  it all happened at the Riverwalk station located at  88 SE 4th Street in Downtown Miami.

Police have not identified the person killed.  No word yet on how it happened.

The Metromover's Brickell stop is out of service due to the incident. A bus shuttle service will be provided.

The Omni Loops stop was closed earlier but has been reopened.
