Pembroke Pines Police Release Sketch Of Battery Suspect

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) – Police are looking for a man they say followed a juvenile girl into her home and battered her before getting away.

A juvenile female victim, according to the Pembroke Pines Police Department, exited her apartment around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 12th to throw away the trash.

The girl noticed a cream colored Chevy Malibu or Impala driving in the neighborhood and then park in front of her apartment.

The man, according to police, got out of the car and followed the victim, forcing his way into her apartment. While inside he held the victim down against her will and battered her, police say.

The suspect left when the victim's cousin arrived at the house.

The victim was not seriously injured.

The suspect is described by police as a black male, 18-years-old, 5'9", 150 pounds, he has a thin beard, long braided hair, tattoo of "MARC" on his right upper arm.

The suspect was last seen driving a cream colored Chevy Malibu or Impala with dark tinted windows and a Florida specialty tag.
