Paul Blart Is Back On The Big Screen

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Paul Blart is headed back to the big screen, Segway and all.

After six years of keep the mall safe, Blart heads to Las Vegas for a vacation with his daughter before she leaves for college. But before he can say blackjack, something goes awry and duty calls.

Actor/comedian Kevin James , who co-wrote the film, knows this character inside and out.

"I'm excited. This is a character I've always loved and to have an opportunity to make a second one was thrilling for us. We were pumped, the character is endearing, he's a fun chacrter to get behind and root for. He's a hero and it's nice to go to movie, bring family and enjoy it," said James.

Comedian Adam Sandler produced the film, it's directed by Andy Flickman.

Paul Bart: Mall Cop 2 opens in theaters this week.
