Broward Parents Gather To Discuss School Bomb Threats

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- Several bomb threats to two Broward Schools caused parents and school board members to gather Monday night to discuss student safety.

Police said the threats were made against West Broward High School and Silver Trails Middle School.

Investigators and school employees searched through both schools and said they found nothing considered suspicious.

The two schools were evacuated due to the threats causing an interruption in school operations.

District and school staff continue to work with law enforcement agencies as they work to find those responsible for the threats.
