Panthers To Unveil New Logo During Event At BB&T Center

SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – The Florida Panthers will be holding a viewing party to unveil the team's new logo and uniforms on Thursday, June 2nd at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. but activities on the JetBlue tarmac in front of the arena will get started at 5 p.m.

Doors to the building will open at 6 p.m. and the event is free and open to the public.

Panthers players Aaron Ekblad, Shawn Thornton, Steven Kampfer and Vincent Trocheck will be on hand to introduce the new logo and the home and away uniforms.

The unveiling will take place on the arena floor beginning at 7 p.m.

Additionally, a round table discussion with Panthers owner Vincent Viola and son John Viola will take place following the presentation.

There will be a number of activities on the JetBlue tarmac including a bounce house, a slap shot station and a ball hockey court.

New logo merchandise, such as polos, t-shirts and hats will be available for sale based on availability.
