SUNRISE (CBSMiami) – The struggling Florida Panthers have made a couple roster moves in an attempt to get the team back on track.

The Panthers announced on Wednesday that forwards Rocco Grimaldi and Garrett Wilson have been sent down to the team's AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates.

To replace them, Florida has called up forwards Connor Brickley and Logan Shaw.

Brickley, 23, played in 10 games with the Panthers this season, recording one goal, two assists and 14 penalty minutes.

Shaw, 23, has played in 13 games with Portland this year. He leads the team in goals with seven and has a total of eight points on the season (7g 1a).

He played one game with the Panthers this season on October 30th against the Boston Bruins. It was Shaw's first NHL game.

The team has also placed injured defenseman Dmitri Kulikov on Injured Reserve, though he was seen skating during the Panthers practice on Wednesday. He's expected to miss another 2-3 weeks.

Also seen during practice was a line swap of two players who are struggling mightily to get on the score sheet.

Jonathan Huberdeau was taken off the top line with Jaromir Jagr and Aleksander Barkov and moved down to Nick Bjugstad's line with Jussi Jokinen.

Hubeadeau has played in all 21 of the Panthers games this season but has scored just one goal to go with 11 assists and a minus-3 rating.

Taking Huberdeau's place on the top line is Brandon Pirri, who is also having a pretty rough season.

Pirri has also played in all 21 games, recording three goals and six assists. He has a team-worst minus-five rating.

The Panthers face the New York Islanders on Friday, November 27th at 7:30 p.m. You can hear every game on Sports Radio 560 WQAM, the radio home of the Florida Panthers.
