Packages Stolen From Doorsteps In The Gables

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) -  Police in Coral Gables are asking residents to be aware of their surroundings after several packages were stolen from doorsteps.

From June 3 through July 2, four people reported that packages they were expecting were stolen, according to Coral Gables Police.

At the first home, on the 900 block of Palermo Avenue, $250 pair of shoes were stolen. At another home, on the 1600 block of Galiano Street, a pair of decorative lanterns, worth $120, was taken. On the 500 block of Valencia Avenue, another person was captured on surveillance stealing $10 toothbrushes. In a fourth incident, another person stole a package which had a $25 bed skirt inside.

Police are asking residents to be aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious behavior or vehicles to the department.
