SEE IT: Owl Flies Around Classroom Of Plantation Elementary School, Whose Mascot Is An Owl!

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) – A South Florida teacher got a very special visit from a real life owl.

It happened at the Central Park Elementary School in Plantation on Monday after students were already dismissed for the day.

Not only are owls considered symbols of wisdom in some cultures around the world, this particular one decided to land on a book appropriately named "Nature's Show Offs."

Even more amazing is that the school's mascot is actually an owl.
