Two Injured In Liberty City Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Miami police are investigating an overnight double shooting.

According to police, Miami-Dade police told them two people, a man and a woman, with gunshot wounds arrived at the Emergency department North Shore Medical Center early Friday morning. Both are listed as stable.

Investigators found their car with both the driver's side and back window blown out.

Miami police suspect the shooting occurred in the area of NW 7th Avenue and 70th Street near an apartment complex. Detectives say the female victim got into a verbal altercation with unknown group of men and she another man were both shot.

Area residents said they heard multiple gunshots around 5 a.m.
