Orlando International Airport Has Busiest Year Ever

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) — Orlando International Airport had its busiest year with more than 38 million passengers  passing through its doors in 2015.

Airport officials said Thursday that 33 million domestic passengers and 5 million international passengers passed through the airport from October 2014 to October 2015.

Domestic traffic was up 6 percent and international traffic jumped more than 17 percent during the year.

The airport is in the middle of $3 billion in renovations and infrastructure construction.
