Organizers: Cotton Fashion Show Sets Guinness World Record

MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – A fashion show on Miami has apparently set the Guinness World Record for the "longest fashion show" based on the length of time, organizers said.

The show, Cotton's 24 Hour Runway Show, a fashion fête presented by Cotton Incorporated was held on Miami Beach's iconic Ocean Drive and featured cotton styles.

It started Friday night at 7 p.m. and ended Saturday at 8 p.m.

The event required more than 50 hair and makeup artists, 60 models and more than 4,000 pieces of clothing .

The total miles walked: 96. That's according to event organizers.

Organizers added that more than 1.2 million online viewers logged on to watch a live stream.
